Next Year’s NZSMIRT Conference will be held in Tāmaki Makaurau – Auckland.
The fields of medical imaging and radiation therapy are evolving at an incredible pace – from cutting-edge technologies to the way we care for patients and grow our workforce. To keep up, we need the best of both worlds, human intelligence and artificial Intelligence. In light of this, the 2026 conference theme will be “Hybrid Intelligence: Defining the future of medical imaging and radiation therapy”.
Join us at the Grand Millennium Hotel, from the 11th to the 13th of September 2026, for a conference like no other. There are plans to have plenary sessions, panel discussions, student presentations, workshops, live demos, social events and international experts sharing the latest breakthroughs in imaging and therapy. The conference, as always, provides a great opportunity to see a different part of Aotearoa, and Auckland – a city of culture, food, adventure, and unforgettable springtime experiences – is sure to provide just that!
